What Now?
This is tough. We’re all feeling it. We need to rest, but also make plans for what to do next. There is so much determination, energy, and hope in this group – people want to be active and know that their efforts have a positive impact!
We encourage everyone to think about what projects they might want to take on, and how they want to be involved. Next week we will share a form to get your input on a few ideas for what we tackle next, and how.
Indivisible Central Ohio Post Election Potluck & Bonfire
We had a wonderful get together this past weekend. There is so much to celebrate in the commitment and perseverance of our members, friends, and allies. We know we need to get together regularly to plan, and also just to enjoy each other’s company. We will share more very soon about the date of our next get together!
How to Share this Newsletter and Stay in Touch
Who knows what is ahead. One thing we’re concerned about is being able to stay in touch if and when Facebook gets weird (or weirder). You are reading this newsletter so you’re already subscribed – yay! But do we have your phone number? Use this link to update your info so we know how to get in touch by phone if needed or can add you to text threads, etc (with permission). If you have a friend who might want to read our newsletter, have them sign up by filling out the form at bit.ly/OHCentralNewsletter.

Lame duck is a term used to describe the period between Election Day and the start of the new legislative session. During lame duck, Ohio legislators scrabble to push as many laws through the legislative process as possible. Any bills that do not pass through the legislative process and get signed into law essentially "die" and must be re-introduced during the next two-year general assembly term (beginning January 1, 2025).
