Bio
An attorney and former member of the Upper Arlington City Council, Michaela Burriss currently serves as Policy Director at the Ohio Justice & Policy Center. She brings more than a decade of directly relevant experience to the role of State Representative.

Raised in poverty in Northeast Ohio by a single mother who immigrated from Germany, she earned a full athletic scholarship to Ohio University, and then graduated from Capital University Law School. She lives in Upper Arlington with her husband, daughter, and dog.
