Grandview Rush Hour Rally
Join us in standing up for our future and protesting the Trump administration’s reckless economic policies that put profit over people. His massive tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy will explode the national deficit, opening the door to devastating cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, Social Security, education, research and more—the very lifelines and services millions of families depend on. Tariffs and trade wars will spike prices on groceries, clothing, and everyday goods, squeezing working families while small businesses fight to stay afloat. His harsh immigration policies are also draining our workforce, hurting industries like agriculture, construction, and hospitality that keep our economy moving. These aren’t distant policy choices—they mean higher bills, fewer resources, job losses and harder decisions for ordinary Americans. Raise your voice and demand an economy that works for everyone, not just the rich and powerful. Organized by Grandview Ignite. Signage recommendations: During our weekly rallies our goal is to reach out to as many people as possible (D’s, R’s & undecided voters) as they drive by. Keep your sentences short so that car occupants can read them as they drive by. Please, focus your messages on the negative economic impacts of the Big Beautiful Bill, the negative impacts of the Immigration policies, and the negative impacts of the import Tariffs will all have on the lives of everyday Americans rather than attacking Trump himself. We do not want to lower ourselves to his gutter level. Truth to power is what we are after. Here are a few examples: • Medicaid cuts = insurance & medicine costs skyrocket. • ICE raids = Tearing apart families. • Tariffs = Tax on all of us! Parking: on protest days on Rt 33-Dublin Rd & Grandview Ave parking is available in the Grandview Crossing lots (Northeast corner of Grandview Ave & RT 33); on protest days on W 5th Ave & Grandview Ave parking is available in the closed Big Lot store lot.

Postcard-Writing: ICE Out of Home Depot
All over the country, ICE agents are targeting immigrants in and around Home Depot, attacking and terrorizing workers, customers, and surrounding communities. The raids are terrifying, chaotic, and sometimes deadly.
These atrocities are happening on Home Depot’s watch, on its properties, with its silence. The Home Depot company has not resisted or condemned these raids. It has not publicly demanded that the Administration stop assaulting and abducting people on and outside its properties. As far as we know, it hasn't even asked.
We will write postcards to Central Ohio Home Depot store managers and to Home Depot corporate leaders demanding an end to their complicity and promising not to shop at Home Depot until they stop allowing ICE to conduct raids on its properties.

Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center, 420 N James Rd, Columbus.
Join us to to protest the cuts to the VA and support veterans!
Register HERE.
This huge facility, serving veterans from a wide area, is on James Road just south of the Columbus Airport. Thousands of cars pass this location during rush hour every weekday afternoon, making this the perfect place to inform people about the crippling cuts that Trump, Musk and DOGE are making to our federal government.
Demonstration area: We will be demonstrating on public sidewalks on both sides of James Road, which are highly visible to commuters passing by.
UPDATED PARKING INFO: To eliminate any possibility of getting in the way of patients or staff at the clinic, we are asking everyone to avoid using the VA lot to the east of James Road. Instead, please park west of James Road. Look for Visitor Parking signs in the lot for Africentric High School, 3223 Allegheny Ave, Columbus, OH 43209. Or you can park on three side streets—Kellner, Lowell and Edgevale—off Ruhl Ave., which is the first stoplight intersection south of the VA clinic. If you’re car-pooling, you should be able to drop off passengers on Allegheny Ave. just west of James, on the way to the Africentric parking lot.
ICE Out of Home Depot
On November 2, we will hold a rally in front of Home Depot, on the public sidewalk on Grener Avenue, in honor of all the workers who have been kidnapped by ICE on Home Depot properties. Join us in a day of action and make your voice heard. Tell Home Depot: ICE Out!
All over the country, ICE agents are targeting immigrants in and around Home Depot, attacking and terrorizing workers, customers, and surrounding communities. The raids are terrifying, chaotic, and sometimes deadly. In August in Monrovia, near Los Angeles, Carlos Roberto Montoya, a day laborer from Guatemala, was killed as he fled a Home Depot raid. He ran onto the freeway and was hit by a car.
These atrocities are happening on Home Depot’s watch, on its properties, with its silence. The Home Depot company has not resisted or condemned these raids. It has not publicly demanded that the Administration stop assaulting and abducting people on and outside its properties. As far as we know, it hasn't even asked.
With its silence and inaction, Home Depot has become ICE’s passive partner. With every new raid, Home Depot is helping ICE meet its arrest quotas, fill private prisons, and spread fear in our communities.
