Voting is Good Trouble

In lieu of our usual Signs of Fascism event, we are planning a “Voting is Good Trouble” event with signs geared toward energizing voters and focusing on messaging that is empowering and action oriented. The messages will include: Voting is Democracies first defence, Voting is a Right-not a Privilege, and Voting is a Stand for justice, among others.

Signs will be passed out at the park and information given.  Then we will walk to Main st.

The event will be an hour long.  Wear your patriotic clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Bring water. Check the weather forecast, the signs are not waterproof. I will provide advanced notice of a cancellation if possible.

Signs are provided.

We will stand and walk 10 feet apart, to give maximum sign visibility. We hope to have a few extra folks sign up to take photos and hold signs. We have 20 sign holders. 

Extra folks are equally important.  You can fill in for anyone who comes late or cancels at the last minute. Photos and video to share online are extremely important and expand our impact. 

If you have noise makers or cowbells, bring them and we'll make some noise!
