OH12 Lends a Helping Hand at the Holidays from Mansfield to Zanesville

Members of Indivisible OH12 are an exceptionally generous group. Every year you reach deep to support your community in the name of Indivisible OH12. Thank you! This year we've put together a list that represents the North, South, East and Western most points of our far-flung district. We hope you will find pleasure in supporting groups close to home and also those a bit further away. Please indicate your gift is with Indivisible OH12 so we can keep track!

Perfect Peace Prison Project (Mansfield area) Goal: $500-1000
"Helping individuals navigate the challenges of reintegration while building stronger and safer communities." PPPP helps individuals who are incarcerated or have recently returned to the community. It also helps the families of those who are incarcerated.

PPPP's founder, Latonya Palmer said a bit more: "Perfect Peace Prison Project {PPPP} was founded in 2019 during the Pandemic and prisoners were given one meal and a sack lunch for the day due to the virus. As a result, through donations, we were able to send food boxes to incarcerated loved ones. Our next project was the Easter basket give-a-way that was a huge success also. We provided 60 baskets to the children of incarcerated loved ones (COIP). Beyond these projects, I communicate and provide assistance such as clothing, housing, transportation, and resources to those who have been released. Moving forward, we are hoping to grow and do more this upcoming year. However, we are a small organization and all of our funding is through donations. Thank you for your generous offer to assist the needy and oppressed."

Palmer, who is a member of Mid-Ohio Indivisible and has worked closely with Amy Burns, has her finger on the pulse of where the need is greatest. Make checks out to Perfect Peace Prison Project with Indivisible OH12 on the memo line. Mail to PPPP c/o Latonya Palmer, 119 Lind Ave., Mansfield 44903.
